Stem Plug (Wand Port Cork)

This is a stem plug (wand port cork) for the Ossian LS® Sprayer. The stem plug is used to close the rear wand port if the wand hose is removed. One plug comes with the unit but is often discarded in assembly.


FOR PROPER INSTALLATION FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

  • ALWAYS release pressure in hose prior to unplugging hose from system. Failure to do so can be dangerous to operator and cause damage to wand port.

1)   To release pressure, unplug and remove 5 gallon liquid tank from unit, leaving inlet port open to the air.

2)   Turn ON unit, and squeeze trigger on spray wand until all liquid has been drained from system. Turn OFF unit.

3)   Remove tie wrap holding wand hose to handle bracket at rear of unit.

4)   Unplug hose by first applying downward pressure on restraining collar, then while holding restraining collar down, pull hose stem upwards from wand port. A gentle rocking action may be necessary.

5)  Insert stem plug completely into wand port until snug.
