TITAN® has been rigorously tested using the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) testing standards. The results? TITAN® consistently outperforms a theoretical 30% calcium chloride blend, making it a superior choice for demanding winter conditions.
Ice melt comparisons measured in milliliters using the H-205.1 testing method set up by the SHRP (Strategic Highway Research Program). Ice melters were tested at 15°F for 20 minutes.

TITAN® also includes an anti-caking agent, guaranteeing smooth flow for ice melt spreaders and prolonged storage life.
Safe for Surfaces and the Environment:
Rest assured that TITAN® won’t harm your concrete or vegetation when used as instructed on the label. Unlike some competitors, TITAN® contains no added magnesium chloride, a substance known to chemically attack concrete. To minimize chloride and salt impacts on the environment, consider incorporating liquid anti-icing practices along with dry application rates.
Easy Application:
For optimal results, evenly distribute TITAN® over icy surfaces using a cup, scoop, or spreader at a rate of 1/4 to 1/2 cup per square yard. Avoid piling the product. Once the ice has melted and separated from the surface, remember to remove slush and water to prevent refreezing. In the case of snow deeper than two inches, it’s advisable to shovel first and then apply TITAN® to tackle any remaining ice or hard-packed snow. Keep in mind that ice melters are not a substitute for shoveling, and excessive application can harm your landscape without enhancing safety.
