Unlike some competitors, TRIPLE MELT® contains no added magnesium chloride, which studies have shown can chemically attack concrete. Consider incorporating liquid anti-icing practices with dry application rates to minimize chloride and salt impacts on the environment.
Application Made Easy:
For effective use, evenly spread TRIPLE MELT® over icy surfaces using a cup, scoop, or spreader, at a rate of 1/4 to 1/2 cup per square yard. Avoid piling the product. Once melting has occurred and ice separates from the surface, remove slush and water to prevent refreezing. Keep in mind that in snow deeper than two inches, it’s best to shovel first, then apply TRIPLE MELT® to tackle any remaining ice or hard-packed snow. Remember, ice melters are not a substitute for shoveling, and excessive application can harm your landscape without creating a safer surface.
